KERALA STATE COOPERATIVE BANK (KERALA BANK)
Kerala State Co-operative Bank Limited, branded as Kerala Bank, is a co-operative bank set up by the Government of Kerala, India. The Kerala State Cooperative Bank is the first scheduled Apex Cooperative Bank in the Cooperative Banking Sector in the Country.
The bank was established by amalgamating 13 District Co-operative Banks in Kerala with the Kerala State Co-operative Bank. Among the 14 District Co-operative Banks functioning in Kerala at the time of the formation of Kerala State Co-operative Bank, only the Malappuram District Co-operative Bank Ltd had opposed a merger with the Kerala State Co-operative Bank.
With the issuance of a notification establishing the Kerala State Co-operative Bank, the bank started functioning from 29 November 2019 onwards. The bank was formally launched by Pinarayi Vijayan, Chief Minister of Kerala, at a function held in Thiruvananthapuram on 6 December 2019. At present, The Kerala State Cooperative Bank is not only the leader of the cooperative sector in the state but also a model for the cooperative banking structure in the country.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
- Degree in Commerce or Masters Degree in Arts of a recognized University with Co-operation as a special subject.
OR
- Any Bachelors Degree from a recognized University and
- Higher Diploma in Cooperation or
- Higher Diploma in Co-operation and Business Management (HDCM) or
- HDC & BM of State Co-operative Union of Kerala or
- HDC and HDCM of the NCCT or
- Junior Diploma in Cooperation (JDC)
OR
- B.Sc. (Co-operation and Banking) Degree of Kerala Agricultural University.
